Good Imprint is much occupied in the design and implementation of websites, large and small, supplying to a variety of clients in the academic, arts, consumer magazine, industrial design, charity and consumer electronics worlds. Working both independently and in conjunction with the publishing, marketing and media agency Kava Communications, Good Imprint specialises in 'clean', functionally elegant websites that are inviting to look at, informative and quick to display.
Options include database-driven pages using MySQL with PHP, an approach confering many advantages, not least the option of including a sophisticated, in-house developed content management system that enables the client to use a standard web browser to add pages or to update or delete existing material. Many of the sites shown in the Portfolio below are maintained in this manner.

Good Imprint is greatly experienced in the exacting discipline of professional level audio CD mastering and provides this service to the world music magazine Songlines for its cover sampler discs. It did the same for Gramophone from January 2000 until the October 2010 issue, after which the magazine discontinued its CD, and for Classic FM Magazine from 2001 until the publication's demise with the April 2012 issue.
All aspects of Red Book production are catered for, including waveform editing, level matching, custom track point and indexing, coding for ISRC, copy inhibition and SCMS. Proof and Duplication masters are provided. Additionally Good Imprint offers mastering of multimedia, cross-platform (Blue Book) CDs.
Font development
Customised fonts for Macintosh or PC. Good Imprint has produced Eastern European character additions to the standard fonts used by Classical Recordings Quarterly, Gramophone and International Record Review. The same service was provided to BBC Proms for its programme booklets in 2006, with further additions in 2010/11, and in 2009 to the Barbican Centre in London.
